Kristjan is on the board at Viska Digital Assets and one of the founding partners.

He served as the Managing Director of the Icelandic Blockchain Foundation. The Foundation was endowed in 2015 and strives to make Iceland the leader in blockchain and cryptocurrency innovation and adoption.

Kristjan has been building software since the age of 11. Awarded Developer of the Year for People's Choice at the Nordic Startup Awards. Kristjan took his startup to Silicon Valley and raised millions for his projects.

Over the years, he has led multiple community projects and hosted at-capacity developer conferences in Iceland in 2016 and 2018. He currently leads the largest developer community in Iceland and is a co-founder of a local grant fund for local technology initiatives.

Kristjan sent his first Bitcoin transaction in early 2013 and is a sought-after speaker on a wide range of topics, especially on cryptocurrency and blockchain.
